For agents
This site is for people and for programs. Each page has a copy in a format that a program can read. The files are static, so you can fetch them with any HTTP client. Each nightly build and each merge to main updates them. The site has 3433 nodes now.
Start here
https://math2.tamnd.com/llms.txtlists the data, the specification and each node, in the llms.txt format.https://math2.tamnd.com/llms-full.txthas the full text of each spec document and each node in one file.
Files
| Path | Content |
|---|---|
api/nodes.json | The index: tag, kind, role, name, aliases, MSC codes and URLs of each node. |
api/node/<TAG>.json | One node: the front matter as it is in the file, the body as Markdown, the outgoing links and the backlinks. The key prov links the provenance log, and it lists the fields that an agent wrote and that no person checked yet, and the fields in quarantine. The view, the Markdown copy and the page leave out the text in quarantine. |
node/<TAG>.md | The node file, byte for byte. |
api/search.json | The search index of this site. |
api/reviewers.json | The reviewers and the number of reviews of each one. The reviews of one reviewer are at api/reviewers/<SLUG>.json, where the slug is the id with a hyphen for the colon, for example github-octocat. |
api/spec.json | The spec documents. Each one is also at spec/<slug>.md. |
schema/node.v1.json | The JSON Schema 2020-12 for the front matter. |
macros/m2.katex.json | The TeX macros of the node bodies, for KaTeX or MathJax. |
Identifiers
A tag has 6 characters of Crockford base32, for example 000AYPA9AJ. A tag does not change. The URI of a node is m2://000AYPA9AJ, and its page is https://math2.tamnd.com/node/000AYPA9AJ/. A retired node keeps its tag and points to the nodes that replace it.
Rules
- The status of a statement is computed by the build. The status is
nulluntil M1. Do not read a status from the prose. - Cite a node by its tag and the commit in
api/nodes.json. - The prose is under CC BY-SA 4.0. The metadata is under CC0 1.0.
- An agent that proposes a change opens a pull request on https://github.com/tamnd/math2. The checks are the gate. Read Contribute.
The API
To run graph queries and search, clone the content repository, run m2 build and then m2 serve. It serves the read API over HTTP with JSON, over gRPC and as an MCP server. m2 serve -propose also serves the write methods, and each write opens a pull request under the GitHub identity of the caller. Read the README of https://github.com/tamnd/math2-agent. This static interface stays the stable one for a program that does not run a server.
