Bergman kernel

Summary

The Bergman kernel of a domain is the reproducing kernel of its Bergman space A2A^2 of square-integrable holomorphic functions. It is a function K(z,w)K(z, w), holomorphic in zz and antiholomorphic in ww, such that every f∈A2f \in A^2 satisfies f(w)=∫f(z)K(z,w)‾ dA(z)f(w) = \int f(z)\overline{K(z, w)}\, dA(z). For the unit disc it is K(z,w)=1π(1−zwˉ)2K(z, w) = \frac{1}{\pi (1 - z\bar w)^2}. It gives the orthogonal projection from L2L^2 onto A2A^2, it transforms simply under biholomorphic maps, and in several variables it defines the Bergman metric.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
