Berlekamp's algorithm
Summary
Berlekamp's algorithm factors square-free polynomials over a finite field by linear algebra. It finds the polynomials of degree less than with modulo . They form a vector space whose dimension is the number of irreducible factors of . Greatest common divisors of with for constants then split . It is deterministic, and it was the main method of factorization over finite fields until the randomised Cantor–Zassenhaus algorithm of 1981.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
