Discrete metric
Example
Let be a set. For , let if and if . Then is a metric on , the discrete metric.
Remarks
For each , the open ball of radius about is . Thus each subset of is open, and the metric gives the discrete topology. A sequence converges in this metric if and only if it is eventually constant.
Explanations
L1 human
In the discrete metric, two points are either equal or at distance . No point is close to another point, so the space has no interesting limits.
What this node needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a node is. They do not measure its truth.
