Double series

Summary

A double series ∑m,nam,n\sum_{m,n} a_{m,n} adds the terms of a double sequence. Its partial sums are sums over rectangles {0,…,M}×{0,…,N}\set{0, \ldots, M} \times \set{0, \ldots, N}, and it converges when these tend to a limit as MM and NN both grow. Double series arise from products of series, from power series in two variables, and from sums over lattices. When the terms are absolutely summable, the double sum equals each iterated sum, by Fubini's theorem for series. The exact definition is in double series.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
