Commutative algebra Special rings Concept
Galois ring
Summary
A Galois ring is a finite commutative ring that extends in the same way as a finite field extends . Galois rings are local rings, and their residue fields are finite fields. They contain both the rings and the finite fields as special cases. They are used in the theory of codes over and in the study of finite rings.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
