Grunsky matrix

Summary

Let gg be a univalent function on the outside of the unit disc. Its Grunsky matrix lists the coefficients of the double series of log⁡g(z)−g(ζ)z−ζ\log\frac{g(z) - g(\zeta)}{z - \zeta}. Univalence is reflected in the Grunsky inequalities, which say that a weighted form of this matrix is a contraction on the sequence space ℓ2\ell^2. These inequalities refine the Grönwall area theorem and were a main tool in the work on coefficient problems before the proof of the Bieberbach conjecture.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
