Leavitt path algebra

Summary

Let EE be a directed graph and KK a field. The Leavitt path algebra LK(E)L_K(E) is generated by the vertices and edges of EE and by a "ghost" edge e∗e^* for each edge ee. The generators satisfy the Cuntz–Krieger relations. It contains the path algebra of EE and adds partial inverses of the edges. These algebras include the matrix rings Mn(K)M_n(K), the Laurent polynomial ring K[x,x−1]K[x, x^{-1}] and Leavitt's algebras L(1,n)L(1, n) without invariant basis number. They are the algebraic counterparts of graph C*-algebras, and many ring-theoretic properties of LK(E)L_K(E) can be read off from the graph.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
