Measure with density

Summary

Given a measure space (X,Σ,μ)(X, \Sigma, \mu) and a measurable function f≥0f \ge 0, the measure with density ff gives each set AA the mass ∫Af dμ\int_A f \, d\mu. It is written fμf \mu or f dμf \, d\mu. It is the basic way to build new measures from old ones. The Radon–Nikodym theorem says that, for σ-finite measures, every measure absolutely continuous with respect to μ\mu is of this form.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
