Operator monotone function
Summary
A real function on an interval is operator monotone if it keeps the order between Hermitian matrices: from it follows that . Here is the Loewner order, and is defined through the eigenvalues of . Every operator monotone function is a monotone function, but the converse fails, so operator monotonicity is a much stronger condition. Löwner's theorem describes these functions through complex analysis.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
