Parameterized complexity
Summary
Parameterized complexity measures the running time of an algorithm in terms of the input size and of a second number, the parameter. Its central class is FPT, the problems solvable in time with any function of the parameter and a constant . It explains why some NP-hard problems are easy in practice when a parameter is small. The theory was developed by Downey and Fellows.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
