Square root

Summary

A square root of a number xx is a number yy with y2=xy^2 = x. Each nonnegative real number xx has exactly one nonnegative square root, the principal square root x\sqrt{x}. For example, 9=3\sqrt{9} = 3, and the square roots of 99 are 33 and −3-3.

What this node needs for W2
  • edge instance_of in: at least two examples (0 of 2)
  • edge not_instance_of in: at least one non-example (0 of 1)
  • edge specializes both: the more general notions and the special cases (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a node is. They do not measure its truth.
