Urysohn space

Summary

An Urysohn space is a topological space in which any two distinct points have disjoint closed neighbourhoods. This separation axiom, also written T212T_{2\frac12}, lies between Hausdorff and regular Hausdorff. Every Urysohn space is Hausdorff, and every regular Hausdorff space is Urysohn. Some authors use the name for the stronger notion of a completely Hausdorff space.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
