Weak coloring

Summary

In graph theory, a weak coloring is a special case of a graph labeling. A weak kk-coloring of a graph G=(V,E)G = (V, E) assigns a color c(v)∈{1,2,...,kc(v) \in \{1, 2, ..., k} to each vertex v∈Vv \in V, such that each non-isolated vertex is adjacent to at least one vertex with different color. In notation, for each non-isolated v∈Vv \in V, there is a vertex u∈Vu \in V with {u,v}∈E\{u, v\} \in E and c(u)≠c(v)c(u) \ne c(v).

What this page needs for W2

  • edge defines in: at least one definition (0 of 1)
  • edge instance_of in: at least two examples (0 of 2)
  • edge not_instance_of in: at least one non-example (0 of 1)
  • edge specializes both: the more general notions and the special cases (0 of 1)
