Beilinson regulator
Summary
The Beilinson regulator is a map from the rational algebraic K-theory of a variety, split by weight with the Adams operations, to its Deligne–Beilinson cohomology. It generalises the Borel regulator of number fields and the logarithm of the absolute value of units. Beilinson used it to formulate his conjectures relating special values of L-functions of varieties to K-theory.
