Chain
Definition
Let be a partially ordered set. A subset of is a chain when, for all , or .
Remarks
So a chain is a subset on which is a total order. In the power set of , the sets form a chain. Chains are the key notion in Zorn's lemma and in the Hausdorff maximal principle.
Explanations
L1 human
A chain is a part of the order that lies on one line. In the divisors of , the set is a chain, but is not.
What this node needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a node is. They do not measure its truth.
