Convergence in measure
Builds on Measure spaceMeasurable function
Definition
Let be a measure space, and let and be measurable functions from to . The sequence converges in measure to if for every
Remarks
Example: on with Lebesgue measure, write with and let . For , the set where has measure , which tends to , so in measure. But each has for infinitely many , so converges for no . Non-example: on with Lebesgue measure, tends to at every point, but the set where has measure for all . A local variant asks the limit to be only for the restriction to each set of finite measure. Convergence in for some implies convergence in measure, by Chebyshev's inequality.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
