Cylindric algebra

Summary

A cylindric algebra is a Boolean algebra with extra operations that model existential quantifiers and constants that model equality of variables. Alfred Tarski and his collaborators introduced them to do for predicate logic with equality what Boolean algebras do for propositional logic. The cylindrification cκc_\kappa plays the role of "there exists xκx_\kappa", and the diagonal element dκλd_{\kappa\lambda} plays the role of the formula xκ=xλx_\kappa = x_\lambda.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
