Euler summation
Definition
Let be a series of complex numbers, and let be real. The series is Euler summable with parameter , or summable, to if the series converges and its sum is . Here is the binomial coefficient. The case is called Euler summation without qualification:
Remarks
For the inner sum is alone, and is ordinary convergence.
Example: take , that is , and . The identities for and for show that only and contribute. These give , so the series is summable to .
Non-example: for and , the inner sum is , and every term of the new series is . That series diverges, so is not summable.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
