Linear response function
Summary
A linear response function describes how an observable of a system changes, to first order, when a weak time-dependent force acts on it. The change at time is the integral of the force at earlier times against a kernel . Causality makes vanish for negative times. Response functions give susceptibilities, conductivities and absorption spectra. In equilibrium statistical mechanics they are computed from correlation functions by the Kubo formula.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
