Builds on Wiener processProbability space
Definition
Let be a standard one-dimensional Brownian motion on a probability space . The local time of is a random field such that, almost surely:
- the map is continuous;
- for every and every bounded Borel function ,
Such a field exists, and it is unique up to indistinguishability. For each and it satisfies, almost surely,
Remarks
Example: for all , and , because the density of at is . Non-example: the field is almost surely for every , so it fails clause 2 with and . For fixed , the map is nondecreasing and increases only on the set of times with . The notations and are also common. With this normalisation, has the same law as .

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
