Metropolis–Hastings algorithm
Summary
The Metropolis–Hastings algorithm is a Markov chain Monte Carlo method. It turns an arbitrary proposal mechanism into a Markov chain with a prescribed stationary distribution . At each step a candidate move is proposed and then accepted or rejected with a probability chosen to enforce detailed balance. Only ratios enter, so the normalising constant of is never needed.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
