Minimal clone
Definition
Let be a set with at least two elements, and let be the clone of all projections on . A clone on is minimal if and the only clones with are and . Equivalently, is an atom of the lattice of clones on .
Remarks
A clone is minimal exactly when every non-projection operation in generates . Example: on , the clone generated by is minimal. Check: its -ary members are the operations , and identifying variables in one with distinct variables gives back. Non-example: the clone generated by and on is not minimal. It properly contains the clone generated by , which is not the projection clone. On there are exactly seven minimal clones, generated by the constant , the constant , , , , the majority operation, and modulo .

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
