Optical transfer function
Summary
The optical transfer function of an imaging system tells how the system passes each spatial frequency of an object to the image. It is the normalised Fourier transform of the point spread function. Its modulus, the modulation transfer function, gives the loss of contrast at each frequency, and its argument gives the shift of the pattern. It turns the blurring of an image, a convolution, into a simple product in frequency space.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
