K-theory K0 and projective modules Concept

Reduced K0

Summary

The reduced group K~0(R)\tilde{K}_0(R) is the quotient of K0(R)K_0(R) by the subgroup generated by the class of the free module RR. It removes the part of K0(R)K_0(R) that only counts free modules. It vanishes exactly when every finitely generated projective module is stably free. For a Dedekind domain it is the ideal class group.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
