Superdense coding
Summary
Superdense coding is a protocol that sends two classical bits by transmitting a single qubit, with the help of a previously shared Bell state. The sender encodes the two bits by a Pauli operation on her half of the pair. The receiver decodes them by a measurement in the Bell basis. It is the counterpart of teleportation: there, one shared pair and two classical bits carry one qubit.
