Variety of lattices
Example
Take the signature with two binary operations and . The variety of lattices is the class of algebras with the identities together with the same three identities with and exchanged. These algebras are exactly the lattices. The order is recovered by if and only if . In this order, and are the join and the meet. The class is a variety, since it is defined by identities.
Remarks
The idempotent laws and follow from the absorption laws: . The distributive lattices and the modular lattices form subvarieties, each defined by one more identity. The class of complete lattices is not a variety in this signature. For example, the rational numbers in form a sublattice of the complete lattice , but this sublattice is not complete.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
