Words and profiles

Definition
Let be a finite graph with chromatic number . Let be a set of colors with .
Words and profiles are defined as follows.
A word on is any map . The word need not be a proper colouring: adjacent vertices may get the same color.
The profile of a word is the vector . Its entry is the number of vertices of color .
Vectors are written in bold, and inequalities between vectors hold in every coordinate. The vector has entry at and elsewhere. The vector has every entry equal to .
Let be the set of proper colorings of with palette . Since , each coloring in uses every color.
A profile is feasible if for some .

What this page needs for W2
- edge instance_of in: one example (0 of 1)
- edge not_instance_of in: one non-example that fails one clause (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
