statement theorem
Absolutely convergent series converge
Statement
Let be a real sequence. If the series converges absolutely, then converges. Moreover, .
Remarks
The proof uses the Cauchy criterion for series. For the triangle inequality gives .
The converse fails: the alternating harmonic series converges, but diverges.
The result holds in every complete normed space. Mathlib states it as Summable.of_norm.
Explanations

Cancellation between terms of opposite signs can only make partial sums smaller in absolute value. So if the series converges without any cancellation, it also converges with it.
What this node needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a node is. They do not measure its truth.
