Calculus of inductive constructions
Builds on Calculus of constructionsInductive type
Summary
The calculus of inductive constructions is the calculus of constructions extended with inductive types and a hierarchy of universes. Thierry Coquand and Christine Paulin-Mohring added the inductive definitions. They give natural numbers, lists, equality and logical connectives as primitive types with their own induction principles. It is the logic of the proof assistant Coq, now called Rocq, and a variant of it underlies Lean. It keeps the impredicative sort of propositions of the calculus of constructions and adds predicative universes for data.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
