Character group
Summary
The character group of a group is the set of homomorphisms from to the multiplicative group , with pointwise multiplication. It is always an abelian group. For a finite abelian group it is isomorphic to the group itself, and its elements form an orthogonal basis of the functions on the group. For locally compact abelian groups, its topological version with continuous unitary characters is the Pontryagin dual.

- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
