Complex potential
Summary
The complex potential of a plane, incompressible and irrotational flow is a holomorphic function . Its real part is the velocity potential and its imaginary part is the stream function. Its derivative gives the velocity directly, . It lets one use complex analysis, in particular conformal maps, to solve problems of two-dimensional potential flow, such as the flow around an airfoil.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
