Differential field
Summary
A differential field is a field with a derivation, an additive map that obeys the product rule, see the definition. It is the algebraic setting for studying differential equations, where solutions are elements of larger differential fields. The field of rational functions with is the basic example. Differential Galois theory and the Liouville theorem on elementary integrals are built on differential fields.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
