Definition
Let be a complete lattice. It is a frame if for every and every family of elements of , A frame homomorphism between frames is a map that preserves finite meets, including the top element, and arbitrary joins, including the bottom element.
Remarks
Example: for a topological space , the open sets of ordered by inclusion form a frame ; joins are unions, finite meets are intersections, and . Non-example: the lattice of subspaces of is complete but not a frame; for three distinct lines through , while . A complete lattice is a frame if and only if it is a Heyting algebra, with implication . Every frame is a distributive lattice. As ordered sets, frames, locales and complete Heyting algebras are the same objects; the three names differ in the maps one uses between them.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
