Helgason Fourier transform

Summary

The Helgason Fourier transform is the Fourier transform on a Riemannian symmetric space X=G/KX = G / K of noncompact type. It expands a function on XX, not only a radial one, in plane waves e(iλ+ρ)(A(x,b))e^{(i \lambda + \rho)(A(x, b))} indexed by a frequency λ\lambda and a boundary point bb. On radial functions it reduces to the spherical transform. It satisfies an inversion formula and a Plancherel formula with the density ∣c(λ)∣−2\abs{c(\lambda)}^{-2} of the Harish-Chandra c-function.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
