Jordan triple system

Summary

A Jordan triple system is a vector space with a trilinear product {x,y,z}\set{x, y, z} that is symmetric in xx and zz and satisfies a derivation-type identity. Every Jordan algebra gives a Jordan triple system, and there are further examples, such as the rectangular matrices with the product xyTz+zyTxx y^T z + z y^T x. Through the Tits–Kantor–Koecher construction, Jordan triple systems correspond to Lie algebras with a grading 𝔤−1⊕𝔤0⊕𝔤1\mathfrak{g}_{-1} \oplus \mathfrak{g}_0 \oplus \mathfrak{g}_1 and an involution that exchanges 𝔤−1\mathfrak{g}_{-1} and 𝔤1\mathfrak{g}_1. They also describe bounded symmetric domains in complex analysis.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
