Lambert summation
Builds on Summability methodSeriesOne-sided limitMöbius function
Definition
Let be a series of complex numbers. The series is Lambert summable to if the following two conditions hold.
- The series converges for every real with .
- The one-sided limit exists and equals .
Remarks
Example: let be the Möbius function and . Expanding and grouping by gives since is for and for . The rearrangement is valid because the double series converges absolutely for . So , and is Lambert summable to .
Non-example: for , the inequality gives . Hence , and condition 2 fails.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
