Definition
Let be a set of atomic propositions. The formulas of linear temporal logic over are given by the grammar A formula is interpreted on an infinite word with each . For , let be the suffix of from position . The relation is defined by induction on :
- if and only if ;
- if and only if , and if and only if and ;
- if and only if ;
- if and only if there is with and for all .
Let be a state of a Kripke structure with a total transition relation. Then satisfies if the word of labels of every infinite path from satisfies .
Remarks
The usual abbreviations are ("eventually") and ("always"); the other connectives of propositional logic are defined as usual.
Example: let and . Then , because : every suffix of starts with a letter containing .
Non-example: the word does not satisfy . Every suffix of has a later position without , so no suffix satisfies .

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
