Description
The Suzuki groups , also written , are an infinite family of finite groups of Lie type. The parameter is with . The order of is For the group is a non-abelian simple group; the smallest one is , of order . The group has order and is not simple.
Remarks
is the subgroup of the symplectic group fixed by a certain automorphism. This automorphism combines the exceptional graph automorphism of in characteristic with a field automorphism, and it exists because is an odd power of . It acts doubly transitively on a set of points, an ovoid in the projective space of dimension over . The Suzuki groups are the only non-abelian finite simple groups whose order is not divisible by . They were found by Michio Suzuki. They are not related to the sporadic Suzuki group .

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
