Sweedler notation
Definition
Let be a field and let be a coalgebra over . For , the element can be written as a finite sum with . Sweedler notation writes this as and an expression means for a map that is -bilinear in its two arguments. By coassociativity, the element is written . For a right comodule with coaction , one writes , with and .
Remarks
Because is bilinear, depends only on and not on the chosen sum; it equals for the linear map on induced by . Example: the counit law reads . Example: for a group-like element , with , one may take . Non-example: is not a valid expression, because it is not bilinear in . For in it would give . The same element written as would give , a different result.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
