Weak Lp space

Summary

The weak LpL^p space Lp,∞(μ)L^{p,\infty}(\mu) contains the measurable functions whose distribution function decays at least as fast as t−pt^{-p}. It contains Lp(μ)L^p(\mu), by Chebyshev's inequality. It is the natural target space for operators that fail to be bounded on L1L^1, such as the Hardy–Littlewood maximal function. It is the Lorentz space Lp,qL^{p,q} with q=∞q = \infty.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
