statement proposition
Derivative of a map into a product
Statement
Let , and be normed vector spaces over , let be open, and let . Let and be Fréchet differentiable at . Then the map , , is Fréchet differentiable at , and Here has the norm .
Remarks
The converse also holds: if is differentiable at , then so are its two components, because each projection is a bounded linear map. Any norm on that is equivalent to the max norm gives the same derivative. Applied times with , this gives the derivative of a map into R^n by components.
Explanations
L1 human
To differentiate a map with two outputs, differentiate each output and put the two results side by side. The remainder of the pair is small exactly when both remainders are small.
What this node needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a node is. They do not measure its truth.
