Group theory and generalizations Representation theory of groups Concept
Group algebra
Summary
The group algebra of a group over a field is the vector space with basis . It is a ring, with the group multiplication extended linearly. Its modules are exactly the representations of over . So representation theory of groups becomes module theory of a single ring. Over a commutative ring in place of , the same construction gives the group ring .

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
