Magnetic vector potential
Summary
The magnetic vector potential is a vector field whose curl is the magnetic field, . It exists because is divergence-free, and it is unique only up to adding a gradient. It plays for magnetism the role that the electric potential plays for electrostatics. It is central in the Lagrangian and quantum descriptions of charged particles.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
