Microcanonical ensemble
Summary
The microcanonical ensemble describes an isolated system whose energy, volume and particle number are fixed. It gives equal probability to every microstate with the prescribed energy. Its entropy is , where counts or measures these microstates and is the Boltzmann constant. The other equilibrium ensembles can be derived from it by looking at a small part of a large isolated system.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
