Model theory of algebraically closed fields
Summary
This part of model theory studies the first-order theory of algebraically closed fields in the language of rings. It also studies the completions , one for each characteristic . The theory admits quantifier elimination. Each is complete and decidable, and categorical in every uncountable cardinality. These facts give the Lefschetz principle and short proofs of results in algebra, such as the Ax–Grothendieck theorem. It is also the basic example of a strongly minimal theory.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
