Poynting vector
Summary
The Poynting vector is the vector field that describes the flow of electromagnetic energy. Its direction is the direction in which energy moves, and its size is the power per unit area through a surface perpendicular to it. It is the cross product of the electric field with the magnetizing field. It enters Poynting's theorem, the energy balance of electromagnetism.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
