Quillen Q-construction
Summary
The Q-construction turns an exact category into a new category with the same objects. A morphism of is a way to see one object as a subquotient of another. Quillen defined the K-groups of as the homotopy groups of the loop space of the classifying space . This definition works for any exact category, not only for rings, and it gives the main structural theorems of algebraic K-theory: resolution, dévissage and localization.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
