Definition
Let be a topological space and let be or . The space of bounded continuous functions is the set of continuous functions such that . It is a vector space under pointwise addition and scalar multiplication. It is a normed space with the norm with when is empty.
Remarks
Example: on is continuous, and with equality at , so with .
Non-example: on is continuous, but , so .
The supremum is finite by the definition, and the norm axioms follow from those of . The space is complete, so it is a Banach space. If is compact, is the space of all continuous functions on . If is a set with the discrete topology, is the space of bounded functions.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
