Statistical convergence

Summary

A sequence converges statistically to LL when, for every ε>0\varepsilon > 0, the indices nn with ∣xn−L∣≥ε\abs{x_n - L} \ge \varepsilon form a set of natural density zero. So the sequence may stray from LL infinitely often, but only on a sparse set of indices. Every convergent sequence converges statistically to its limit, but not conversely. For bounded sequences, statistical convergence to LL is equivalent to strong Cesàro summability to LL with exponent 11.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
